This place seems to be full house most of the time. The food here is pretty decent. The taste of the tonkatsu broth is just nice. Not too salty and not too strong. You can actually customise the strength of the flavour, the thickness as well as the texture of the noodles when you order. They provide you with sesame seeds for you to grind and add into your ramen. They also have bean sprouts and friend onion on the table for those who like them in their ramen. This place is not too noisy too. Good for those who want to have some conversation over a meal. Overall, the food and the place is good for quiet meals with family and friends.
Ramen here is pretty decent. While waiting for food we were served cold marinated beansprouts which was good and some black & white sesame for grinding to be added into the ramen later. The special Tonkotsu ramen has 3x thick & huge slices of chashu, not bad but I love the eggs better and the broth here is thick and creamy. We also tried its garlic Tonkotsu ramen in strong taste and hard thin ramen. Although the broth was thick and flavourful, it didn't taste garlicky and ramen was not hard at all but the meat here was comparable to the chashu With add on RM5, we get to choose a side dish & refillable green tea that's worthwhile (available from 11.30am-5pm, Mon-Fri, exclude public holidays). Takoyaki was very nice, karaage was also not bad. However, pricing is on the high side.
If you fancy ramen for lunch or dinner, this place is a great choice. The broth is excellent, and the choices are quite varied. Other than the ramen dishes, they offer other things like rice and dumplings. However, the Ramen is still the best here. Service is also good here as they serve everything quite quickly and the staff are friendly. I would easily recommend Hitoyoshi Ramen.
Really nice and warm ambience. It's a nice place to have a relaxed lunch. Lots of nice things on the menu. We went with a chicken teriyaki don, and mazesoba. Everything came very fast. The chicken teriyaki don is nice, chicken is tender and beautifully seasoned. The mazesoba was unique and flavourful, really nice with a bit of vinegar to cut all the fattiness in the pork. However i felt it was really much too salty. Same with the soup that came with the teriyaki chicken don. Really too salty. But all in all a good dining experience, and happy to visit again.
Delicious ramen and rice dishes, good portion sizes. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would come back for more!
One of best ramen in kl. I love Ichiran, Ippudo. This ramen is same or better level of Tonkotsu ramen. The set meal Teishoku also same level or better than Yayoi-ken. Free bean sprouts namul also good. Basically, all the meals are bit salty but for me it’s ok. I order the ramen with remarks “hot soup”. So that the soup is enough temperature for me. I order Tonkotsu ramen and Karaage teishoku. Already 5 stars since karaage served with the mayonnaise and lemon, grated radish. To be 6 stars, salt level of miso soup, dryness of rice, less source of spinach. Just my preference.
Best ramen place in PJ with flavor as good as genuine Tonkotsu ramen from Japan. They give free garlic presser and bean sprout appetizers and sesame topping
Comfortable, modern dining experience if you're in the mood for some premium ramen or mazesoba. My better half treated us to a meal for my birthday here. Had a tonkatsu, garlic tonkatsu and a spicy ramen. What's really great here is you get to decide how much salt and oil you'd like in each bowl. Had my tonkatsu less salty. Rich gelatinous porky broth came through. Doubled up on the taugeh, to down the soup, which comes refillable. Plain water is free. You may grind down sesame or have it as is in your noodles. The pan fried and deep fried gyozas were nice and filling. Wish they thrown in more noodles and a large slice of seaweed. That would have this a visit to remember for me. My kid dropped a chopstick unnoticed. A staff came round to pick it up so she wouldnt slip on it - how thoughtful.
